Topic: Day 9 Sea Day

Last night we went past the island of Stromboli which is a volcanic island that is still erupting. It has continual mile eruptions in which lava fragments are ejected. Now known in geology circles as the Strombolian effect. There are still islanders (nutters) living on the island. I saw some magnificent eruptions and took some great photographs a sample below.

The next sea day was uneventful. I went to an on board art auction, looked at a couiple of Dali’s, Picasso’s and I nice little Rembrant which was going for a song. I was look ing forward to the next day exploring Barcelona.
